are we lost?
Have you seen some of the books that are being lauded in “christian” bookstores these days? I was in a local one on the weekend and was shocked by some of the bestsellers that people are buying. These “Christian Life” books are kinda getting on my nerves. Some of the stuff I see on the [...]

the pride of years
Wow. Time gets away from you quickly.
This past week I was on holidays from work… and life, I guess. I took a break from the normal routine and I went to the west coast for a few days. Traveling to and from was a bit of a nightmare – a cancelled flight, and some bad [...]

Choosing to yield
Have you given much thought to how baptism relates to sin in your life? That is what I have been thinking about today.
So, as soon as I said baptism, your mind immediately went to thoughts of immersion or sprinkling of water. Right? A river, a pool, a lake, or bowl next to an altar…
I [...]

A Day Well Spent
Today we got out to do some hunting, some walking, and enjoying the snow that was beginning to fall. We saw about 6 whitetail with one young buck (2×2), a herd of elk at a far distance (I think the bull was with them), 1 bald eagle and his mate, one beaver and most [...]
